WorldLoop’s 2012 Annual Report Now Available

WorldLoop is proud to release its first annual report. Inside you will find a full picture of what WorldLoop has been up to over the last year.
Started as a pilot project of Close the Gap, helping guarantee a “zero-waste-to-landfill” policy to ensure that ICT for development projects remain sustainable and can continue to have a positive impact on those societies most in need WorldLoop started with the set-up of one pilot recycling centre in Nairobi in 2011.

In 2012, WorldLoop grew from a pilot to an independent organization and in the last year has been able to serve more communities in more East African countries.
All the stories, successes and opportunities that are shared within would not have been possible without the support, encouragement, and insights from our partners, sponsors and stakeholders. For this, the entire WorldLoop team and our member organizations in the south are eternally appreciative of. A special note of thanks to our strategic partner VINTAGE, for all their hard work in designing the annual report and conveying our story that e-waste can be a solution, instead of a threat.
On behalf of the WorldLoop team, we wish you happy reading and thank you again for your role in helping us change the e-waste cycle.
